Install the Elarpet app, create a free account and tap “Add device”. Power on your camera, wait for the friendly chime, then follow the in-app steps to join your 2.4GHz WiFi network. The whole thing usually takes a couple of minutes — and you’ll see your pet on screen the moment it connects.
Absolutely — that’s the whole point. As long as your camera has internet at home and your phone has a connection, you can open the app from anywhere in the world to check in, talk to your pet, toss a treat or start a game of laser tag.
No. Elarpet cameras use 940nm no-glow infrared, which is invisible to people and pets — there’s no red glow to light up the room or interrupt your buddy’s sleep. You get a clear black-and-white view in the dark while they snooze undisturbed.
The laser dot on Elarpet Play uses a low-power, eye-safe class designed for pet toys. Still, follow the golden rules: never aim it at a pet’s or person’s eyes, keep play sessions short, and supervise the fun. Always finish a laser game by guiding your pet to a real treat or toy so the chase has a happy ending.
Elarpet Feast dispenses dry food in measured portions from a sealed hopper. Set meal times and portion sizes in the app, and the feeder releases the right amount on schedule — or on demand when you tap “Feed now”. The built-in camera lets you watch every mealtime, and you’ll get an alert when the hopper runs low.
Your live stream is encrypted and tied to your private account, so it’s for your eyes only. Clips can be kept locally on a microSD card or, where available, in optional encrypted cloud storage. You decide who joins your home — invite family or a pet sitter with their own access, and remove it any time.
Every Elarpet device comes with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of purchase. It doesn’t cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear.
